With a bit of delay…
Yummy over all yummies! They’re finger-licking good!
Really delicious muffins with nutella filling for both the young and… the young-at-heart : )
Soft and sweet they are… Well, let’s not exaggearate with this sweetness… We don’t need any remorse, do we? : )
While baking, nutella catches this amazing crispy effect, which makes eating them even more pleasant.
This position is a must-bake for all muffin-eaters!
Ingredients (for 12 muffins):
- 140g soft butter
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 tps vanilla flavour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 flat tsp baking powder
Mix the butter till you get nice, smooth and a bit whitish mass.
Add sugar and flavour. Mix.
Start adding eggs one by one, mixing after each add. It’s no good to add all three eggs at once. Doing things gradually should be way better for the mass.
What’s interesting at this point of preparations, the mass can get curdy… It’s quite usual, however, so… let’s not worry beforehand : )
Add baking powder to flour and both go into the mass. Of course still mixing.
When all is mixed and formed into a smooth and nice mass, prepare a muffin pan.
Place the cups in the pan and fill them with the mass (something around 3/4 of the cup should be filled)
And then… then my favourite : ))
Add one full tablespoon of nutella into each of the muffins and try to stir the cream into the cake.
If the cream is just left on the surface of the muffin it may get burnt too much : )
Preheat the oven to 165-170°C.
Baking time takes around 25-30 minutes.
Stolen from Dorota again, from here to be precise.
