Evening cravings… We know them so well ;)
Crumble should do the trick – just cover the apples with it and enjoy your evening with your bellies full.
Best served straight from the oven… Though it may result in soft tongue burnts ;P
That is why, vanilla ice-cream served along should help a lot ;D
… and next time I’ll go for another fruit than apples ;P
Ingredients (for 4 portions):
- 2 big apples
- 1 really full cup of all-purpose flour
- 100g butter
- 2 Tbs vanilla sugar
- 2 Tbs demerara sugar (or brown sugar, or white sugar just less of it)
Peel the apples and cut them into smaller pieces.
Place them in ramekins.
Mix the flour with both sugars.
Add chopped butter and knead it with your fingers to get crumbles.
(If it’s too crumbly, add a bit of butter)
Sprinkle the apples with crumble.
Bake at 180°C for about 35 minutes.
And… eat! :)
