If I had known that making home-made ice-cream was so easy…
I think this year my family will get such overload of ice-cream that sooner or later they’ll start hating it ;P
In the original recipe you can find them under a different name. I decided to change it because the moment I tasted this ice-cream, it reminded me of this little truffle chocolates… just here you’ve got a cooling version of them ;)
It is so easy to be made… and a good solution if you don’t know what to do with too many bananas at home ;P
Ah, and a nice way to use your home-made baileys :)
Ingredients (yields around 1l of ice-cream):
- 170g dark chocolate
- 280ml milk
- 280 ml Baileys
- 3 ripe bananas
- 50ml dark rum
Melt the chocolate in milk, heating it up till it’s smooth.
Blend the bananas with alcohol.
You’ll get a kid of banana mash :)
Add chocolate mixture to banana mash. Stir it all.
Cool in the fridge overnight.
The next day mix the mass every two hours, placing it in the freezer after each mixing.
When the ice-cream mass is too hard to be mixed, leave it in the freezer :)
