I haven’t made any granola for a very very very long time.
Time to catch up with some :)

This one I found on My Man’s Kitchen. I decided to make if from half of the portion given. Just to try it out :)
By the way, I realised that granola drying is really individual matter – sometimes it can take up to 40 minutes and sometimes, like in this case, only 20! Or to be honest… even shorter :)

Nut Granola is something I’ll be still experimenting with. As for now, that’s the recipe :)

Ingredients (1l jar):

  • 150g oats
  • 150g wholemeal oats
  • 50g walnuts
  • 50g peanuts, unsalted
  • 50g flax seed
  • 50g dried cranberry
  • 2 heaping Tbs honey
  • 1 1/2-2 Tbs oil
  • 3 heaping Tbs peanut butter

Line the form with bakery paper.

Mix dry ingredients.

Heat up honey, oil and peanut butter until it’s combined.

Pour dry ingredients with the warm mass and stir it all thoroughly.

Dry at 160°C for about 15-20 minutes, stirring in with a wooden spatula every 5 minutes.
As I said, drying can take from 15-40 minutes. It’s important to watch your granola if it’s burning or not :)

Once it’s dried, take it out and chill for a moment.
Place in the jar.
