Lemon Ice-Cream

HTML tutorial

It’s me :)

Being a bit lost among new duties and passions, I decided to find a moment and stop by :)
Don’t you think it’s better to concentrate on one or two things and do them correctly instead of trying to put everything together and in the end failing at it? Well, so do I. That is why, I was absent for a (longer) moment :)

This recipe is… a piece of cake. I mean, it is not. But that easy, yes :)
For those who are a bit lazy. For those who adore really refreshing tastes.
This ice-cream helped me to survive this year’s heat. Definitely.

Ingredients (for about 1,2l):

  • 3/4 cup lemon juice (from about 5 lemons)
  • 2 cup milk
  • 2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 and 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbs lemon liqueur (optional)

Mix all ingredients thouroughly.
Cool in the fridge for about 12 hours.

After this time, mix the mass.
Place it in the freezer.
Mix it every 1h-1,5h so that the mass is smooth and does not crystalise :)

When the mass is so thick so that you can’t mix it, leave in the freezer.

OR pour the cooled mass in the ice-cream maker and wait till half an hour to eat your yummy ice-cream :)

Couldn’t be easier :)

A bit changed, from Dorota’s book :)
