I don’t even want to think how long this recipe has waited to be posted… Shame on me…
Two possible ways of reading the name of the recipe.
You know my attitude to baking… Thus, Passion in the title :)
And more literal meaning – Passion Fruit as one of the basic ingredients of this cheesecake.
And here we have it :)
Passion Fruit is one of my favourite fruit. You had a chance to read a bit more about it while I was posting other recipes.
Currently, I’m trying to be patient to see it again on the shop shelves… It’s been so long. Too long, for sure :)I managed to squirrel some passion fruit curd away, though. I thought it was high time to make a use of it :)
I remember some time ago I made a cheesecake with lemon curd on top. I also remember people’s reactions to it – everyone was saying it was so tasty! (By the way, it turned out I still hadn’t posted it on Sarenka… Jesus, what’s going on with me?!)
Cheesecake with Passion has a really subtle taste. It’s not too sweet, thanks to quite sour top.
One of the most exotic baking on Sarenka :)
Check it out!
It’s me :)
Being a bit lost among new duties and passions, I decided to find a moment and stop by :)
Don’t you think it’s better to concentrate on one or two things and do them correctly instead of trying to put everything together and in the end failing at it? Well, so do I. That is why, I was absent for a (longer) moment :)
This recipe is… a piece of cake. I mean, it is not. But that easy, yes :)
For those who are a bit lazy. For those who adore really refreshing tastes.
This ice-cream helped me to survive this year’s heat. Definitely.
Loads of redcurrant!
Redcurrant jam – done (not sure why not posted ;))
Redcurrant Ice-Cream – done.
Sooo… time for the tart. Second attempt :)
I honestly need to admit that working with this dough was a bit more difficult than with the previous one. Especially when it came to dough rolling. Well, finger pressing method did the trick so nothing to worry about ;)
The tart itself is something I adore :)
Sour, aah :)
Refreshing, aah :)
You taste it and suddenly, somewhere at the end of your tongue you feel the taste of coconut… Niiice :)
Best served – still warm :)
If you like apple pie straight from the oven, this tart will win your hearts :) Ooopsie, stomachs ;)
I don’t believe in coincidence… But making this tart was coincidence ;)
Of course, the final effect was supposed to be completely different… Luckily, it ended up in a yummy way :) The taste of this tart is really untypical…
Yet, I need to admit I’m posting this recipe mostly because of this delicious tart… The topping is very tasty too, yes, but the bottom… oh my :) I’m not even sure if I should be saying it’s a tart since it’s something in between a tart and puff pastry. And do believe me, I would have never thought I could make puff pastry myself ;P
Next time, I’ll be trying this tart recipe but with a different topping… Well, I think no matter what you use, it can’t be a failure ;)
Oh, and definitely I’ll work on the shape of the tart… as for now it looks… not the way I’d like it to look like ;)
I’ve just realised there is no Classic Tiramisu recipe on Sarenka… What the…
Need to change it, right now!
My Tiramisu is really soaked… And when I’m saying soaked, I really mean it :) That’s the way we like cakes and desserts here in my family :) The cake should be soft, wet and mouth-watering. And that’s how this Tiramisu is :)
I made the cream without adding whipped egg whites. That is why, it was a bit more dense in its consistency. If you want it to be even more creamy and delicate, just add the whipped whites… and that’s all :)
The pictures may look a bit chaotic. It’s because they were taken in a hurry… Tiramisu started disappearing faster than I expected :)
To me, a perfect choice for Father’s Day :)
My love for summer… That’s a never-ending story :)
Love love love, pure love :)
Today was such a hot day! Finally!
Good that Andrew is nearby… Ice-cream is what I need now… what I need in general ;P
Yes, I’m addicted.
As much as one can be.
Three ingredients, so much fun :)
Have I mentioned I love summer..? :)
Maybe it’s not one of the most holiday-like recipes but I have really had a craving for coffee recently. Any version of it :)
Still, I think that next posts will be more suitable for summer time :)
About the cake – Coffee Brownies – flawless.
I know I’ve been using this description quite often but… well, what can I do when it’s so good? :) To my taste, of course :)
This brownies is wetty chocolatey and quite alcoholic… While it’s being baked, the smell of the cake surrounds the whole flat… Amazing.
And just a short explanation for my recent absence… Well, to cut the story short, it’s all about a new passion :) It turns out we learn throughout our whole lives and we can really surprise ourselves, positively so :)
As for now, I’ve been trying to find time for everything :)
After the long weekend I think I’ll come back with some new ice-cream recipes… All in all, Andrew is here with me :)
