The Granola :)

All of the ingredients are my favourite! That is why this granola is mine, mine, mine!!! :)
I decided to make my own version because I noticed that I had a tendency to look through my previous granolas, searching for some bigger pieces of nuts… Then I thought – why would I look for the best ingredients if… all of them can be the best!

In my granola chopping is not welcome. Well, maybe just a bit :) I like when the nuts are big, noticeable and extremely crunchy :) And roasted hazelnuts… oh mummy… it’s like a tiny version of nutella… The best with hot milk :)

You’re all invited… :)

(Going) Nut Granola :)

I haven’t made any granola for a very very very long time.
Time to catch up with some :)

This one I found on My Man’s Kitchen. I decided to make if from half of the portion given. Just to try it out :)
By the way, I realised that granola drying is really individual matter – sometimes it can take up to 40 minutes and sometimes, like in this case, only 20! Or to be honest… even shorter :)

Nut Granola is something I’ll be still experimenting with. As for now, that’s the recipe :)

Checking out wholemeal bread recipes in progress :)
To tell you the truth, it’s getting worse and worse to choose the most delicious ones! From the moment I made Graham Rolls, I thought they were simply the best but now… now I’m not that sure :) Flax Seed Rolls are sooo good too!
One thing for sure, both recipes are worth trying out :)

Wholemeal flour, seeds – that’s something I like the most :)

Wheatmeal Bread

Once it turned out that making your own bread at home is sooo easy and, what’s more, soooo tasty – I promised to myself I would bake it from time to time. Really worth doing so. As I mentioned some time ago, this feeling when you take out warm bread straight from the oven is simply… priceless :)
Those who check on Sarenka more often know that I’m mostly in favour of wholemeal bread :) Well, can’t do much about it – no one will convince me that wheat breadstuff is superior to the wholemeal one :) Nope, sorry ;)
They say that first times are highly overrated… Well, that’s my second bread ever so according to what they say, it should be way better than the first one. To be honest, both are equally good! :)) No favouring ;)

And by the way… I’ve got a new baking form! Be ready for new experiments ;D

All good things come to an end… The same happened to my first granola :)
I’ve had an idea for a new granola for quite some time so when the time came, I decided to make another one. Of course, I won’t be recommending things that can be found in Sweet Fit because they’re so obviously good that they don’t need any special recommendations. Seeds, nuts, oats, dried fruit – simply perfect. As an extra, I can say that this granola is a bit more… refreshing. Good job orange juice! :)

So next weeks of eating straight from the jar are coming ;D

Butter Croissants

My first post here : )
Would be nice if not the last one.

You may say that croissants would be perfect for breakfast time but it was one Sunday evening that I decided to make them for the first time. And to tell you the truth, they barely survived till the morning!
Now, the question is what they’ve got that other croissants mostly lack in..? Hmm… Personally I think it’s all about their “butterness” They’re soft, subtle and, let it sound ad-like, but they simply melt in the mouth… Yummy!
There is one huge trouble about them – you just can’t stop eating them ; )
I highly encourage you to make them – the best are still hot straight from the oven : )

Just as a matter of explanation, since it’s just the beginning of my cooking path, most of the recipes used on Sarenka Baking will be taken from my Baking Guru. Dorotko, thank you soooooooooo much for your amazing Moje Wypieki and for all the inspiration you gave to me!
