It’s me :)
Being a bit lost among new duties and passions, I decided to find a moment and stop by :)
Don’t you think it’s better to concentrate on one or two things and do them correctly instead of trying to put everything together and in the end failing at it? Well, so do I. That is why, I was absent for a (longer) moment :)
This recipe is… a piece of cake. I mean, it is not. But that easy, yes :)
For those who are a bit lazy. For those who adore really refreshing tastes.
This ice-cream helped me to survive this year’s heat. Definitely.
Big thank you to a person who infected me with juicing :)
I don’t drink much water, which is bad for me, I know, I know :) But from now on, I’ll try to catch up with some vitamins by making home-made juices… They’re so so so good!
As I mentioned last time, I bought a really nice book and I’m planning to share all possible tastes that won my heart :)
So… paraphrasing The Beatles, all you need is… a juicer, some fruit and vegetables and… let the power of vitamins be with you!!!
How I couldn’t stand this cake when I was a little girl! Yuck yuck!
This gooseberry mass was unacceptable for me… And it was so so so sour! How could you serve such a sour cake to a little girl who loved sweet things so much, huh? :) Seems Mum was making this cake only for herself, ha! truth revealed! :))
Well, Mum was so in love with Gooseberry Cake that she suggested baking it again… You can only imagine how happy I was :) So she was the one persuading me all the time… till my little heart broke down ;)
For me it’s a Sentiment Cake… Taste of My Childhood…
And one thing is sure, our taste changes with us… My appreciation for sour cakes began not so long ago. That is why, only now I can appreciate this cake too. Now I understand :)
I truly don’t know where Mum took this recipe from. She’s got like thousands of them :)
But hey, good she had it, right? :)
Not much of a story about them.
I just had to use the rest of mascarpone :) And make something edible, by the way :)
I was surprised myself with the taste! I mean, I didn’t expect them to be so yummy!
Such little things… So good :)
They were supposed to say goodbye to September but seems they’re here to greet October. Fair enough :)
And one more thing, they were really willing to sit for me while taking pictures! As if they asked me to take one more and one more and…
I know, silly it sounds ;)
To be fair, each of them deserved an individual portrait ;)
Taste-wise – delicious.
Decoration-wise – well, you know I’m manually disabled ;P
Try them out :)
My camera is back! I missed it! So much!
Last weekend I managed to make two delicious cakes and and and… a close shave and I wouldn’t have even one picture of them! They started disappearing so quickly :)
But here they are… I mean, here it is – one as for now :)
It’s been a long break, which I didn’t like at all but now it’s high time I caught up with some baking :)
Both cakes I made are sweet (of course!) but this time I wanted to bake something that would break this sweetness :)
Ladies and Gentlemen, lemon mousse. One of the yummiest things I’ve eaten :)
If you are fond of lemon sweets, this one will win your heart within seconds :)
The thing is, eating mousse is way easier than making it ;P
It should be clearly stated, this mousse can be problematic if it wants ;)
I think next time the consistency will be smoother and… even better :)
Sooo… this cake is a mouuse-t :D
Are you cold? :)
So am I. Even though they say there is no winter here yet, I’m still lacking some warmth ;P
Thus… for the cold-handed as well as for those who suffer from constant ice-cold feet symptom – A real warm-up :)
Just put it in your tea, cover yourself with a blanket, take a good book in your hands and… the world is yours :)
